You seek results when you hire someone to train your teams, not education alone.
Often, however, after other instructors leave you are still left with the question “what happens now?”
To get you the results you seek, fkiQuality approaches education seeking to create the highest business impact possible during the training.
To achieve this, we blend project selection, training and coaching in one Organizational Learning package. The potential of this approach is in involving managers in the selection of operational improvement projects which will become the participants’ homework.
The first component, project selection, takes the form of a manager-level workshop to identify areas of opportunity, get a decision to launch and staff projects and agree on timeframes for each one. This session is facilitated by a senior fkiQuality consultant.
With projects defined and authorized by management, your staff launches into the training by kicking off each project and getting assigned to them. The content of the training are preset but may adapt to the needs of the projects as they are executed.
In parallel with classroom education, participants are coached to put their learning to work each week with assignments that follow the course’s methodology for process improvement. Business risk is minimized while results are maximized through close coaching by an experienced consultant.
The “class” ends with a results presentation by the team members to the managers who selected the projects at the start. Typically, there are tangible business results already, the teams are energized, and you have launched the first wave of a program of improvement.
